In the Old Testament the glory of God was veiled, while in the person of Christ Jesus in the New Testament Glory is revealed. Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 3 that the purpose of the Glory of God is to transform us into the image of Jesus Christ. All of this lead to the final purpose of God that we would be glorified with Him as Romans 8:28-30 tells us.
